This is a tropical architecture in Bali Indonesia, designed by Singapore based WOHA architects, who has built a global reputation for innovative design for projects in tropical environments. WOHA believes that it is the responsibility of the architect to create diverse, innovative and exciting environments.
The Alila Villas Uluwatu project comprising of 34 residential villas and a hotel with 40 villa suites and located on the southern coast of Bali, and designed in harmony with the surrounding natural environment. As respecting to the local culture, the fusion between vernacular architecture and contemporary detailing define the sucess of this project.

We are very pleased that Alila Hotels have embraced the Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) principles……The design of the interiors is completely integrated with the architecture, as the design flows from inside to outside. All the materials are locally sourced. These beautiful local materials are environmentally sound and support the local communities.
