magnolia Magnolia Lighting Unit | Autoban + Seyhan Özdemir & Sefer Çaglar

A flower lighting unit but seems to me like topographic model that always recall me when I was a student in University. The designer Seyhan Özdemir & Sefer Çaglar has teamed up with Autoban to create a new furniture line. The product is available for sale in Hivemodern.

The Magnolia Lighting Unit hanging from the ceiling, the natural effect strengthened by the use of timber. Hexagonal plates are graduated in size, becoming smaller towerd the top and bottom. Each plate is rotated into a different position so the form below is reminiscent of the leaves of a flower.

+ material
Plywood with Oak or Walnut Veneer

Designer: Seyhan Özdemir & Sefer Çaglar
