The new Campagneplein dormitory with 87 apartments at Twente University campus, Enschede, Netherlands is designed by Arons and Gelauff Architects. The building features a nine stories high climbing wall on one side, this climbing wall was an integral part of the building’s design from the first design sketches, whereby the wall and the apartments helped shape each other. The contrast color and material between climbing wall and the building facade emphasizes the impression and creates a logo-like shape, have a result of sculptural building and also gives the highrise character and recognizability.
