Portuguese architecture firm ADOC (Arquitectura Design Ordenamento Consultores) has designed a student housing proposal for university campus in Zaragoza, Spain.
+ Project description courtesy ADOC
The first thought was, not only to understand the houses as part of a hole, but also to recognize their individuality. It’s a house, and will never stop being one. It will be unique and it will be what always was, “… the center of the world…”, our first straight line, our first square, our five line house.
Only in the paper we were orthogonal, supporting ourselves in their walls we searched for the vertical axis, challenging the balance and, also supported, our eyes started to see things as tall as us and we draw it, in its honor we draw straight lines.
From the archetype multiplication, five vertical villages result, in each floor a street.
