Paris-based design studio Samal design recently has designed three contemporary products – Sphery chair lounge, Alien lamp and Human table.

The style of which combines both: the futuristic and retro vision on design. I call it “New Retro-Futurism”, mix of retro design with futuristic and advanced elements. I think that the future of design is in our past experience and heritage covered with nowadays technologies. I’m a keeper of traditional creative approaches but with the very contemporary way of thinking and using of technology.
