Biotech – Salone del Mobile 2010 | Iosa Ghini Associati
Italy-based studio Iosa Ghini Associati recently has completed the Biotech installation.
The idea is based on an installation representing the symbolic link between nature and technology, the integration between artificial and natural areas.

The idea is based on an installation representing the symbolic link between nature and technology, the integration between artificial and natural areas.
A flux of energy carried out with LED technology, rises from a grass mantle in a symbiotic relationship, offering multi-media concepts and images of our ecosystem to the visitors.
The theme is our future: the integration of human artificial actions with the natural order, in order to create a new balance.
That’s why we suggest a solution that does not reject the technological aspect but is able to match a physical and semantic integration with the anthropic or natural environment.
A seating system made with recycled material allows the visitors to gaze at the fluid evolution of the architectural object.
