Dogali Square | fondaRIUS architecture
fondaRIUS architecture has completed the refurbishment project for Dogali Square in San Gregorio Magno, Salerno. This square is nowadays a space for pedestrian and vehicular circulation, in a state of total abandon. The project proposes to divide the square into 2 different areas: one for the transit and the parking, the other for the stay and pedestrian transit. Besides linking different areas of the historical center, the project creates an urban connection. The materials – asphalt with coloured marks and walls and stairs of concrete – ensure low costs and easy maintenance.
