molo’s exhibit at Superstudio Piú
molo at the Temporary Museum for New Design – Zona Tortona, Milano
Superstudio Piú – space H – Teatro del Design – 1st floor
12 – 17 April, 2011
A series of natural brown paper caves, “grotta di carta“, have been constructed from stacked columns of flexible paper blocks. Mobile-like clusters of luminous paper clouds are suspended overhead. The new mobile structure allows a broad canopy of cloud forms, hung from a single point, to provide light and a sense of intimate enclosure. molo is also showing urchin softlight with a new LED armature that will be available in the coming months.
The “heartfelt lantern for Japan” is available. The numbered, limited edition lantern is $150 USD (110 €) with full proceeds being donated to Architecture for Humanity’s relief efforts in Japan.
molo‘s float glassware is part of the TRON Designs Corian® exhibition.
