Arte Laguna and the Italian cultural association MoCA (Modern Contemporary Art) are working together since 2006 on promoting contemporary visual Art. Main result of this collaboration is the International Art Prize ARTE LAGUNA. The Prize is aimed on supporting emerging and also already well-known artists, giving them the possibility to show their artworks in high quality expositive settings around the World.

There are 5 sections: painting, sculpture, photographic art, video art and performance, virtual art. No age limits are required, topic and tecniques are free. This year the total cash prize amount is 170.000 Euros, 7.000 Euros per section, but besides money Arte Laguna Prize offers many opportunities to artists, such as art residencies, personal exhibitions in galleries, collective exhibitions, attendance at international Festival.

The winning artworks will remain of artists’ property

Deadline: 11th November 2011 (updated 17 Nov 2011: 30th of November for entries via postal service, and 6th December for entries online)
Application fee: 50 € one work, 90 € two works
