Parametric design \ Unit Arkitektur
Through the agency of the software Grasshopper Unit Arkitektur have designed a 4,0 x 0,6 m. lamp for our new office. The lamp is constructed by putting together 103 individual parts that have been laser cut from 3 mm birch ply-wood.
The pieces have been put together with zero tolerance and hence no glue. All parameters are in place and we can now mass produce this 70s-retro-pool-hall-light-fixture to the masses.
