Sur Mesure Restaurant \ Blossom Creative
“Sur Mesure” is a fast food restaurant that customers can make their sandwiches, salad or pasta with ingredients and sauce of their own choice, among a large selection… Let us now look at the works that have been carried out inside the restaurant. The previous owners had used the premises as a temporary employment agency. In order to render the premises suitable for the restauration business (in relation to food storage, the kitchen, or accessibility), almost everything had to be demolished and redesigned. The new client imagined opening a much higher quality outlet than the traditional fast food chains.
The Regulars are from the surrounding shops, but also professionals (such as lawyers or accountants) working in the many offices. The challenge was to open a trendy, fashionable restaurant, inspired by the lounge bar concept and offering an oasis of tranquillity in busy day-times schedules.
Upon entering the restaurant, the main counter is in front of you. You are greeted by the team who will also prepare your salads and sandwiches. Just next to the counter there is a refrigerated area where clients can select starters, desserts and drinks before choosing their main menu.
Several tables have been installed, allowing small or larger groups of friends to meet and mingle.
On the first floor, there is a very cozy space where people can relax in leather seats and be warmed by the authentic gas fire. There is a panoramic view from the mezzanine on the busy restaurant and its activity below.
Finally, the modern Kitchen is hidden away from sight on the first floor. All dishes are freshly prepared there, either on a daily basis, or in immediate response to the client’s orders. The sophisticated kitchen is in its rightful place and does not infringe upon the dining space.
