Widescreen House \ R Zero Studio
Located at San Gaspar Golf Club (Jiutepec de Morelos, Mexico), in an area of 1,600 square meters on top of a hill; Widescreen materializes in a one floor house to accommodate a versatile program. Today is a rest house, but tomorrow it will turn into a house where the client will enjoy his retirement.
The house is resolved in two concrete volumes connected by one vertical element made of granite that communicates the private and public areas. The volumes were designed in 4:1 proportion, hence the name of the house, the use of apparent materials like concrete, black granite and crystal, achieve by making the house part of the mountain.
