South African office studioMAS architects + urban designers has designed an iconic form for the multi-media art gallery in Jellicoe, South Africa. The aluminium fin facade was inspired by the nature, with its paradox of implied order and chaos. It created the sensation of shadow and light in the journey along the entry ramp.

Herning Museum of Contemporary Art in Herning, Denmark is a first prize winning project designed by Steven Holl Architects to accommodate exhibition galleries, 150 seat auditorium, music rehearsal rooms, restaurant, media library and administrative offices. The museum will open to public on September 9 2009.

Sapphire is a residential gallery addition to private residence with approximately 1,500sf located in Los Angeles, California, designed by XTEN Architecture. The lightweight structure lifted off the ground, creating a shaded multi-functional space for family use, the gallery on top enclosed by huge glass provides a better view to the surrounding hills.
